A compact mix of leather, mineral earth, black pepper and coffee, with roasted notes edging out bread crust on the finish.

Rocky Patel began blending The Edge in 2002 and launched it in 2004 as an unbanded cigar in 100-count crates of rough wood at about $5. The 20th Anniversary marks that start: it returns to an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper from the original seed, which blue mold had pushed many farmers to replace with Habano 2000, and comes banded, in 20-count boxes, made by the Plasencias at El Paraíso in Honduras.
