Sun City Center Boulevard Runs Straight to Our Door
The road you already use every day is the whole route. About six miles, three turns, a quarter of an hour.
- Sun City Center Blvd West · 4.6 mi Becomes College Ave past I-75. Same road — don't turn.
- U.S. 41 Right · 0.75 mi Past the Shell Point Rd light and the post office.
- 7th Ave NE Right · 350 ft No signal here — watch for the street sign.
- 99 7th Ave NE Arrive On the right. Free parking at the door.
Two Ways In From Sun City Center
Both run the same road west. They differ only in the last mile.
Straight West, Then Two Rights
Two turns total, both onto signed main roads. Use this one if you don't know Ruskin.
- West on Sun City Center Blvd (SR-674). It becomes College Ave past I-75 — same road, don't turn.
- 4.6 miles to the U.S. 41 light. Turn right onto the Tamiami Trail, heading north.
- Three-quarters of a mile north, past the Shell Point Rd light and the Ruskin Post Office.
- Right onto 7th Ave NE — next street past the post office, no signal.
- 350 feet in, on the right. Free parking outside the door.
The Neighborhood Way In
Same run west, then a residential street instead of the highway. You never merge into U.S. 41 traffic.
- West on Sun City Center Blvd / College Ave, exactly as above.
- Right at the last light before U.S. 41 — signed 2nd St SE, about 650 feet short of the highway.
- Straight three-quarters of a mile. It becomes 2nd St NE and crosses Shell Point Rd — neither is a turn.
- Left at the T onto 7th Ave NE.
- 240 feet along, on the left.

No garage, no meter, no circling the block. We're on 7th Ave NE, one street off U.S. 41 — a block from the Tamiami Trail in old downtown Ruskin, the river town founded as a utopian colony on the Little Manatee in 1908. Free parking outside; guests must be 21+ with photo ID.

How far is Gator Tobacco & Cigars from Sun City Center?
About six miles — 11 to 14 minutes in normal traffic. Sun City Center Boulevard (State Road 674) runs 4.6 miles west to U.S. Highway 41 in Ruskin, then it is one right onto U.S. 41 and one right onto 7th Avenue NE. We are at 99 7th Ave NE, Ruskin, FL 33570.
What is the simplest route from Kings Point?
Kings Boulevard out to Sun City Center Boulevard, then west. Stay on that one road — it becomes College Avenue past Interstate 75 — until it ends at U.S. Highway 41. Turn right and continue three-quarters of a mile, then right onto 7th Avenue NE. About 5.7 miles in all.
Is there a route that avoids driving on U.S. 41?
Yes. Coming west on College Avenue, turn right at the last traffic light before U.S. Highway 41 — the sign reads 2nd Street SE. Go straight three-quarters of a mile; it becomes 2nd Street NE and dead-ends at 7th Avenue NE. Turn left and we are 240 feet along, on the left.
Can I take a golf cart from Sun City Center?
No — this one needs a car. Carts are street-legal inside Sun City Center during daylight hours, but the route runs on State Road 674 and U.S. Highway 41, which are not cart roads. There is free parking outside our door on 7th Avenue NE.
Is there parking, and do I need to be a member?
Free parking right outside the door — no garage, no meter, no permit. No membership is required to shop or to walk through the humidor. The members-only lounge is still under construction. You must be 21 or older with photo ID to purchase.
