Prefer surface streets? U.S. Hwy 41 traces the bay shoreline south through Gibsonton and Riverview into Ruskin.

St. Petersburg
Cross Old Tampa Bay on the Howard Frankland Bridge via I-275, then join I-75 South for the run to Exit 240A. Coming from the southern beaches instead, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge carries I-275 directly to I-75 North near Palmetto — no need to double back through downtown.
