Pepin Garcia created Le Bijou 1922 in honor of his father, born in 1922, and this limited edition marked what would have been his 100th birthday. Its tobacco comes from the family's San Rafael, Las Quebradas and San José farms and is given a special fermentation; the first edition, in 2022, was 1,922 boxes of 22, and it returned in 2024 and 2026. Cigar Coop named the Corona Extra its 2023 Cigar of the Year.
