Sensory Blend Profile
A measured dose of pepper builds into earth and a touch of grilled meat, with a nose-tingling burst as the first ash falls.
Pepper leads over rich, soil-like earth with white pepper and chalk, then a brief syrupy, buttery sweetness past the midpoint.
Earth and black pepper return as the sweetness fades to the background, holding medium-plus to the end.
My Father's second core line, introduced at the 2009 IPCPR show: Le Bijou is French for “the jewel”, and 1922 is the birth year of Pepin Garcia's father, whom the blend honors. It keeps the Nicaraguan binder and filler of the original My Father under a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper the company grades oscuro-oscuro. The Churchill was one of the line's three debut sizes.
