Sensory Blend Profile
Six-year-old Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobacco finished in bourbon barrels, in Sun Grown or Maduro wrapper. Full-bodied, with dark cocoa, oak, and a whiskey-sweet finish.
The Reserve 10th Anniversary is where Perdomo began aging wrapper leaf in bourbon barrels, a technique Nick Perdomo Sr. kept as a family secret for years and called the “Champagne” of wrappers. Its tobaccos are aged at least six years; the box-pressed Sun Grown wrapper then spends another 10 months in bourbon barrels and the Maduro 14. The line's Champagne (Connecticut) version was Cigar Journal's Best Brand of Nicaragua in 2018.
