Profile Note

Ernesto Perez-Carrillo's family story in a cigar: the band shows his mother in Cuba's tobacco fields and his daughter in Miami. A Mexican San Andrés wrapper over an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Nicaraguan filler, full-flavored, with cocoa, coffee, spice and earth and a lingering sweetness.

La Historia, introduced in 2014, is Ernesto Perez-Carrillo's homage to the women of his family and to its journey from Cuba to the United States. It is made at Tabacalera La Alianza in the Dominican Republic; the line's E-III was Cigar Aficionado's No. 2 Cigar of 2014, and the box-pressed Regalias d'Celia joined in 2015.
