Sensory Blend Profile
A revival of El Rey de los Habanos, named for the Garcia family's first factory on Miami's Calle Ocho. Nicaraguan Estelí, Jalapa and Condega tobacco under a Sumatra Rosado Oscuro wrapper; medium-bodied and balanced, built on the family's signature pepper.
El Rey de los Habanos was both the Garcia family's first U.S. factory, a small shop in Miami's Calle Ocho neighborhood, and one of its first cigar lines. My Father brought the line back in late 2024 as Don Pepin Garcia E.R.H., with a new blend under a Sumatra Rosado Oscuro wrapper, offered first to Tobacconists' Association of America retailers. The original was a Nicaraguan puro, and a 2014 remake used an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.
