Sensory Blend Profile
A mild, sweet-tipped toro: only the cap is sweetened, with notes of sugar cane, honey and wine. An Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Dominican Cuban-seed binder and Piloto Cubano and Criollo 98 long filler, made at Tabacalera Palma.
Rough Rider Sweets has been on the market since at least 2001. In 2015 José “Jochy” Blanco of Tabacalera Palma bought La Galera Cigars/Indianhead Distributors, and in 2016 the line returned with a refreshed look, made at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic as a long-filler cigar with a sweetened cap.
