A collaboration between Tabacalera El Artista and David Ortiz. The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper opens into cracked pepper, roasted chestnut, and cream, with leather and citrus through a medium-bodied finish.
David Ortiz, the Boston Red Sox's “Big Papi”, partnered with Tabacalera El Artista of the Dominican Republic on this line, announced in July 2016 near the end of his 20-season career and shipped that October. The band shows his silhouette pointing to the sky, the salute he made after home runs in tribute to his late mother.
